Haha.. my bad..

Poecilotheria can throw dirt. Sometimes at you. Beware opening enclosures during excavation periods.

Avics spray feces. Doesn't smell bad, but still should probably be avoided..

I’ll add on that I’ve seen Psalmopoeus and Ephebopus throw dirt fast balls as well.

You meen P.rufilata :angelic:...

Hey,what's the name of that species from the Andes mountain that rolls down the slope to escape predators. That's pretty unusual behavior among Tarantulas..

As for my contribution to the thread

There is Kankuamo marquezi that from what I gather has a type of poison on (or delivered through) it's setae. The irritation caused by the hairs is from direct contact with the poisonous setae not purely mechanical like all other species of Tarantulas. If I remeber correctly I don't believe they can dislodge the abdominal setae at all.
I've owned P. rufi, not green enough. There's no true green out there, about the closest is an Avic locality, and that's more a blue-green.

Here is a place to post about weird and wonderful tarantula with unique behaviours and physical features I will start of with .mira with its trapdoor building behaviour
My brachepelma abopilosum sling that comes out if it's burrow all the time for no reason. From what I could gather these guys don't come out much but not mine which is nice because it's nice to see it all the time

You are right but nothing that a good 'hand' of Glidden Diamond 'Deepest Woodland Green' can fix. Available at Home Depot for $24.98 1 gallon :)

Sure, if you are colorblind.

If you think these look alike....the second one...that's what grey looks like.:bored:
Silver with some slight green then. And a pretty black Lasiodora. :) IMG_20180130_235141190.jpg
Is that green too? IMG_20180121_233542937.jpg
Tinge of green. That's like calling this pokie purple.. IMG_20171112_215943404.jpg

I completely disagree...the green is brighter, but not the dominant color, but brightness of the green, doesn't make it more or less green....green comes in shades, it doesn't have to be bright green to BE green.

A pine tree is green, a watermelon is green, a lime is green, a cam is green...all are different shades, sure....but all are indeed, green, by definition. :cigar:

Ah, so you agree it's slightly green?

I did not use the word slightly. Different shades, but equally green.
You said it's green. Then talked about how it's still green even if it's not a bright green. To me, that sounds like another way to say slightly green.

Regardles of the shade, its still green.

When it comes to blue, people do not make this distinction.

A GBB is blue.
A violaceopes is blue

A balfouri is blue

All are different shades, yet all are referred to as blue ts...why is blue different than green where we need a specific shade of green for it to be considered green? It doesn't with blue...all shades of blue are recognized as blue.
