I've got two Emps, I think they both may be female?

This one I've had for a while..., I think its a female maybe? Both pictures taken tonight.

This one I got very recently, and came pretty heavily infested with mites. I had asked for a male, but I think this one is also female :( Makes me sad, because I really wanted a breeding pair. The first picture is older from when I first got it, second one is newer and you can already see the mite population has reduced. I've also ordered some predator mites to try and drastically reduce the remaining mite population, they should arrive next week.

Anyways, what do you all think?
Thanks in advance! :)

It's hard to make out on my screen, but there may be mites on the first female as well. It could be stuck substrate. If they're not being housed together, I'd recommend adding the predatory mites to her tank as well. Mites can travel farther than you might think, so treating any nearby enclosure is a good idea as they are often drawn to warmth and moisture.

There is a small cluster of mites on the first one as well. This is a pretty recent development and I'm honestly surprised they managed to travel all the way across my house (since I was housing them in different rooms to try and prevent this from happening). I ordered enough mites to treat all my enclosures, and even my vermicomposting bin, just to make sure.
