Someone's been looking at botarby8s I presume. To add to the discussion, I'm really curious as well.

Here are all the undescribed pamphobeteus on Rick West's site. Think it might be one of these?

There are so many undescribed species of pamphos. I doubt it's any of those and this is supposed to be new. None of those are from Ecuador either (San Domingo).

I was looking on various sites but, Krazy8s has the approximate size and common name in the description which is the most info I have on this species. I looked at Rick West's site as well and saw that Pamphobeteus sp. 3 resembled the description given but, the location throws me off and has me thinking it could be a totally different species all together.

I really want to buy one but, I want to get educated on the species before I purchase one. So any more useful and helpful information is welcomed here.

The location threw me off but, it could be its locality range too.

From what I understand it's new and they are supposed to get as big as blondi. I asked about it not long ago not sure if it was here or in the chat. Can't seem to find it using the search but there are a few posts on it. You probably won't find much info on this species now. I looked for info on other sites and couldn't find any either. Don't let it stop you from getting it. ;)

They are suposed to reach 11cm body length and be bigger than T. blondi

Hello,

There are at least 3 species (Probably 4) in the pet trade from Santo Domingo in Ecuador. I don,t know whether this is the same place as San Domingo that you mention. I would assume that it is.

Regards,

Stew.

I think it's the Goliath if I'm not mistaken.

ive gotten random pampho species in the past with no prior research. you just care for them the same as you would any other terrestrial tropical species, like Nhandu spp....Lassiodora spp.....Theraphosa spp.....etc.

That's my personal opinion and experience.

id love to see one of these that is larger than a t.blonde.other than suppovly reaching "goliath" sizes i dont see what all the fuss is about this species.they are very nice but 350 dollars for a sub adult seems a little out of control
