Hi - me again worried about my spooders getting DKS.
I have to paint their room but I feel like I can put them in my walk-in closet and it will be fine while paint dries and airs out. Wondering same about fumigating. Some flies and fruit flies made their escape and are thriving on my ceiling some how. I have a hotshot fogger and was hoping someone had advice to doing this and keeping spooders safe. I have 8 jumpers and I can put them in my walk-in in closet and seal door and keep their air purifier running on high. Any thoughts)

best thing you can do is move the entire collection out to a safe house for a few days until your house is completly aired out and free of fumes from both paint and the bug bomb. both bug bomb and paint fumes will get all over

The safest would be bait traps

I suggest searching the forum, lot of experiences to learn from here

Do you have other pets?

Definitely move them out the house or if that's not an option to the furthest point in the house away from where this is all happening.

@HooahArmy Right up your alley.
I've been meaning to ask, how common is the use of DDVPs (et al, dichlorvos) these days? I know about the uproar and ban, but my understanding it the crap is still used throughout many aspects of manufacturing to the present. I am aware of how thorough and rigorous the FDA is about use and testing - pardon the sarcasm - but a tremendous amount of manufactured goods all or in components come from overseas where things are a little more lax and fragrant grease often runs the show in the approvals processes.
(Got an organism problem cutting into your profits? Dichlors will fix that pronto! I noticed mold and mildew resistant paints oddly had the stuff in the MSDS data sheet. Page 17, at the bottom in 1/2 point type, May Contain no more than....That's a little weird. )
