Okay so first off this does appear to be Pachygraspus crassipes. I will give you some information on them from just simple source search below. But what I will say before all that is that this is likely a species best left in it's natural marine habitat. especially since it was not something that was planned to keep in advance. Unless you already have a marine tank that is running, as that is what they will need in captivity, and with the ability to come up out of the water.
They are a primary marine shore-crab, that is fairly terrestrial with a primary habitat of ranging up into intertidal range but lives within the primary shore region never straying too far from the safety of cover and the water, tide depending (Cowles, 2005). While they omnivorous it appears that its main food source is algae pacticular algae films and diatoms, but also be opportunitsitc and feed on green algae species such as Ulva and Enteromorpha, red algae species such as Endocladia, Rhodoglossm, and Grateloupia, and brown algae like Fucus sp. (Crowes, 2005; Stahl, 2001). Other sources such as Inaturalist (n.a.) show that there food sources can also include other invertebrate prey. Lord & Barry (2017) also studied P. crassipes impact on predation levels of local mussel populations when the mussels were very young, those being Mytilus galloprovincialis and Mytilus californianus, and found that P. crassipes in particular showed preference for the former M. galloprovincialis at or under sizes of 15mm, when the shells are the thinnest and for thin-shelled inverts in general when they are available to the juveniles of P. crassipes. Lord & Barry (2017) also do state a preferred food source found for P. crassipes in the habitat being studied in California was Ulva lactuca.
