Protuberance

Hello guys

I got a new Pandinus imperator male, and he got this protuberances (bulge?) on abdomem.





Is it normal?

It should be fine. I have had flat rocks and African ground scorpions with irregular protuberances and they were just fine. Unless someone here has had the same experience with Emps and knows something I don't.

That this doesn't indicate a parasitic cyst.

It looks black around the edges so could be some sort of infection or impaction, problem is, there's not much you can do, sorry, but there are cases of decent longevity in scorpions with impactions.

Hellow! More pictures about the protuberance. Is there any possibility to avoid this situation? Like gutloading roachs or crickets with Garlic, Aloe Vera or Orange? Any medicine?
