Do P. murinus' fast? It's been a couple of weeks and one of mine is refusing food consistently. (She's mature) I think she's stressed...(big surprise) from the activity in the house...she's SO sensitive and alert to everything!

Mine has fasted some time prior to its yesterday molt, but it has fasted before when it was nowhere near a molt, this could be because the temp was too low, I think they go into sort of a dormant mode when the temps are too low. I've never noticed that too much disturbance (except you messing around inside the cage) has any influence on the eating behaviour.

My adult P. murinus female will fast for up to two months, and then she will feed regularly for two months or so. I just offer her food once a week, and if she does not express interest in the food after a couple of hours, or overnight, I take the food out.
