P. metallica not a big eater?

this is something i never even considered, that they might be night hunters, I mean my P. metallica is always out when im asleep, im kind of dumb for not at least thinking about this, I will test it out for science. unless someone knows already.

Tarantulas are primarily nocturnal. Most of my Ts ( and everyone elses) don't care,they will eat day or night.. I only have a few finicky individuals.

But yea maybe yours prefers to feed after dark.. Give it a shot..

all my other Ts will eat like monsters hungry for flesh, but QT3.14 Pokie just cant be bothered.

Why female p Metallica is not a big eater is that normal for this species I give her a head smashed dubia ever week and the last time she ate that I know for sure was 2 weeks ago

Unless your T is lethargic or very skinny that’s plenty of dubia . You could give some adult pokies a dubia female or 2-3 male Dubai’s every 2-3 weeks and be fine .
