Wondering if anyone in the US is working with these? Breeding, raising slings up, etc. Would love to see pics if you are of spiders or the setups

Hi, I have a subadult one currently but it’s honestly the weirdest spider I’ve ever owned. Absolutely refuses to dig despite a starter burrow being present and being fossorial by nature. She’s also extremely skittish and hits the panic button very easily. So far not defensive, though. Based on where she was purchased from I have reason to believe she was wild caught.

In terms of set up she’s being kept in a fossorial bioactive set up with some cork bark, moss, small plants, and springtails. She has plenty of dirt to work with but prefers to hang out in the corners or on the walls. image.jpg

Sorry, I missed your comment on my thread. Thanks for the response.

I set mine up in a more vertical jar with less open space and less light coming in. She's burrowed well for me.

I think they're a really pretty species. Hoping to see them being produced in the US soon as the female I got was WC as well
