Where can I find 100% organic potting soil? I'm in Ohio by the way. What is a good (trustworthy) brand to use and where can I find it?
Thanks for any input.

If you cant find it from the normal store/supermarket there's something wrong.
At least here is possible to just go to buy food from a bit bigger market and there's peat too.

I buy Texas Gold potting soil.

It's always amusing to me to make a trip to the gardening store; to buy dirt.

I like "Hortibec" totally organic with no additives and "Premier" black earth with no additives. Both are a little more expensive($8 CDN/40 litres) but make for a really nice substrate.I found both at Home Depot....

well

I get a big 30 some pound bag of pure organic peat moss for like $3 USD; i can't recall the brand name but i can check when i get home (In class at the moment.) It's at lowes, and the extra $ is well worth it since the back promises that there is no additives/fertilizers etc,i think anyway..(think it's worth the cash, not that it does :D )

I've been looking for plain "dirt" dirt for awhile, all the bags everyone around here carries have additives. One day I went to Home Depot, 3 diff. gardening stores, and a hardware store! :wall: Ended up using 50/50 peat & vermic. again.
