I'd go with 4 arboreal and 4 terrestrial.

1. C. versicolor

2. P. cambridgei

3. P. regalis

4. O. schioedtei

5. A. ezendami

6. A. geniculata

7. N. tripeppi

8. N. incei

Really hard not to add another Avic, there are so many great ones.....also hard not to add a Brachypelma, like emelia, albiceps or klassi....also hard not to add a Pamphobetus.

Funny, I currently keep 8 tarantulas and have no space to expand. That said, I do have a duplicate so I'll keep one who has since expired of old age on my list 🤣

In rough order of acquisition:
  1. A. purpurea
  2. C. versicolor
  3. G. pulchra
  4. P. irminia
  5. G. iheringi
  6. P. ecclesiasticus
  7. Y. diversipes
  8. T. sp violaceus
I regret nothing. 😂

Oh gosh, I totally forgot about cyaneolum......add that one to my list....spectacular species

That said, Lasiodora wouldn't make my top 250.....the most boring genus of large terrestrial NWs....jmo

all in the eye of the beholder, i have 4 adult females that are not only huge, but also never kick hairs and are incredibly bold investigating any maintenance i do closely in case there is food. Similar to how my G. rosea acts. It just so much fun to care for them.

it is much preferred to sending a cloud of hairs my way while bolting into their hide, that's for sure. I am looking at you Brachipelma sp. & Bumba horrida :sour:
