Chilobrachys sp. kaeng krachan is supposed to reach 7-8"+ DLS.
I have 2 Khiri Khan and 1 Kaeng Krachan, or did, forgot to label them and they look the same. One didn't make it so I'm not sure if that was a Prachuap Khiri Khan or a Kaeng Krachan so I may have a KK but I'm gonna get another just incase, another S crassipes, and just whatever stands out to me that I see next. Waiting on someone to give me a good list haha. I love Selenocosmiinae. I thought about Hysterocrates but I don't like their thin abdomens and they are never out, I do see my huahini although that's one I'm moving on as not a fan of the way they look., yeah Cameroon reds are underground far more even than most old worlds. I think Cyriopagopus are pretty much the same which is a shame as some beautys in that genus. I have considered a P chordatus or lugardi, not that they're big just they're pretty awesome

I hear that cyriopagopus schmidti can hit that size.
I've just had the chance to order that and didn't as it wouldn't arrive until August the 6th so ordered from a different place.
I ordered Cyriopagopus doraie. 2 x Chilobrachys sp Kaeng Krachan and Selenocosmia javanensis. So Basically some of the most defensive species there are haha. H doraie supposedly gets a good size.

Another species I had an opportunity to buy but didn't is Ornithonoctinae sp Ho Chi Minh. Do you know what size that gets to? Regardless, I want it anyway it's absolutely stunning. So is the Schmidti though. It's not often you see those two species for sale in the UK. They have C hanainum aswell.

O. sp. Ho Chi Mihn don't get real big. My male just matured at about 3" DLS, and I'm expecting my female to get to 5" or so. They are very pretty T's, though.

It is a little ridiculous, isn't it? He might actually be 3.25" (I've not been able to get an actual measurement), but I was SHOCKED to see him with emboli after his last molt - unexpected when they go from a big "sling" to mature male!

Oh wow I hope my O sp Ho Chi Minh isn't make. They are stunning though 5" is a regular sized T which is well worth it if theyre beautiful. Looks substantial enough in its structure. I hope my C schmidti isn't a male because they get nice and big and they are stunners too.
As well as the others I said I ordered above, I did order the O sp Ho Chi Minh, The C schmidti, and the obligatory OBT (I figured we've all gotta bite the bullet and get an OBT at some time) It's not like I own any Ts that are known for having calm temperaments anyway 😂😂

When they arrive my list will be:

Chilobrachys sp Kaeng Krachan
Chilobrachys sp Prachuap Khiri Khan
Cyriopagopus doraie
Cyriopagopus schmidti
Ornithonoctinae sp Ho Chi Minh
Pterinochilus murinus
Selenocosmia crassipes
Selenocosmia javanensis

I have more than one of the Chilobrachys species and then will just focus on getting more of the others to increase the chances of females. I am tempted to get more Cyriopagopus species though.

I also keep Cheloctonus jonesii (Scorpling) and Heterometrus silenus (Adult male)

Few months in the hobby and addicted to it I have to admit. As long as you keep a catch cup, you give your T somewhere to retreat to and don't provoke them and bother them to much I think you can have old worlds. I did research for years as I was interested and couldnt have them for a while, and I do have a lot of Facebook friends who are experienced and I consult their advice.

Some great channels online to learn from.

Don't take this the wrong way. You mentioned in a past thread that you weren't ready for pokies. Just to let you know, your list of OW's makes a pokie look like a puppy. If you're not ready for a pokie, (the easiest OW imo minus an h pulchripes), then I'd say you may have bitten off more than you can chew... urticating hairs are the least of your worries.
