Of course, man :) The Boot basically was skilled in everything (save for technology, talking in general) and every type of fine art/s.

Females will almost invariably eat the male if he doesn't attempt to pair within a few months after maturing, let alone a whole year (or more). Trying to pair him would have almost certainly been a death sentence. This is pretty common knowledge, which is why no one else called me out on it.

No, the female won't let him do his business. He's slow, unresponsive, just not up to his game. The female will know this, and the ball is in her court. Like so many animals, the female decides if the male gets to pass on his genes. If she feels that he isn't up to the job, then he's nothing more than an easy meal.
