How do you ppl measure a T....i always see 4", 6 "....

Is it legspan? or body length?

and how do i tell if my T's(cobalt) abdomen has become too small....whats the margin for worry?

my cobalts body length is about 2"...legspan about 3.5 or 4....not sire...

In general, most people will use leg span or LS to measure a T. This is done by measuring from the tip of left or right leg I to the tip of the diagonally opposite leg. In other words, it would be from left leg I to right leg IV. Another measurement that you sometimes see is BS or body span. This is from the front of the carapace to the end of the abdomen.

When we talk about checking the size of the abdomen, we generally mean the girth of it. What you need to look for is signs of "deflation" Is the abdomen wrinkly? Does it seem out of proportion to the rest of the T's body? That's what we're talking about.

Besides the general way, there are other ways to do it as well. That is why usually you should ask how a dealer measures his T's before you buy from him.
