So Rozilla (my rosie) has eaten 5 crickets in the last two days! She's been webbing like crazy and has been more defensive than normal, I touched her back leg with a paint brush and she quickly turned and slapped at the brush. That's not normal for her. LOL Pre-molt maybe? She wasn't eating the week before last, at least not like this. Last week she ate about 4-5 crickets for the week, but not 5 in two days.

Also wanted to see if anyone would confirm that Rozilla actually is a female. I'm almost certain she is, just wanted confirmation. :D

And here is one to show how beautiful and healthy she looks. (The colors are a bit off due to poor lighting but that's ok)

While I agree it's possible, she's acted odd at other times, this was just the one incident that stood out the most. But, it's always possible. I'm pretty new still and I've only had her for about 2 months, so I don't really know what's "normal" for her anyway. LOL Just from what I've observed from her this is weird and new. :D

First off: Welcome to the hobby! Second: G. rosea are known to fast or eat everything in sight. They only need 2-3 crickets a week. Over feeding leads to fasting. I cant tell if thats a female from that photo. Maybe a straight on shot? Your T is not in premolt. They do not take food for months before molting. I would recommend reading these threads:
