Hey Holley,
Here's my recently molted GBB that from best I can tell from the last molt is probably male. If your male doesn't get the job done (or gets munched) this guy has your name on it. Besides, I owe one of your female T's a snack. LOL!

I've read that it takes several males and mutiple introductions to just get a mating let alone an egg sac.

We have always had really good success breeding this species without a problem. All of our females are at times a little bit to willing (running up to the male with trying to mate). In fact our males were always the ones that wanted to take it slower. I currently have a male with one of our females; I've seen them lock up about 10-20 times over the past 4-5 days. I know it seems like a lot, it is! I want to take him out, but they are just so willing. Wonder how many times he has recharged? I see evidence of at least 1 sperm web. I'll be putting him with a separate female next week.
Thanks
Justyn

P.S. I'll take some pics.

YOU HANDLE YOUR GIGAS??????
LOL...i wondered how long it would take someone to question that action. I too have one of these H gigas from Mr Deranged and there is no way in heck that I would ever consider handling it. It moves like lightning and seems (at least to me) to be very unpredictable.

btw, Immortal_sin, nice pics of the GBB. I love the colors on that male. Good luck with the breeding project.

thanks, and yes, at least this particular gigas has shown no defensiveness at all.

Part of my attraction to GBBs is watching them change as they grow!:)

Maybe you could put a lil Brandy in her watering dish, might help persuade her.
