Who has one? What are they like? They’re gorgeous and I’d like one eventually, but finding info on them is pretty rough lol.
Yeah there’s a seller in classifieds selling them and it’s got the “ooh lala” price tag, just wondering about it’s husbandry and care stories more or less. From what I know about they are basically your average Asian pet hole, just way more pricey than the regular others of that T's league. They are (somewhat) priced here in Europe, so God forbid in the U.S, where T's prices are always higher than here.
Medium size T's. Personally I'd buy a stock of different "Haplos" species for that money but just me.
I'm fairly certain it's the usual Asian pet hole care: Inches of moist substrate, good ventilation, a couple of fake leaves and a piece of cork bark. Done.Yeah there’s a seller in classifieds selling them and it’s got the “ooh lala” price tag, just wondering about it’s husbandry and care stories more or less.
Fair enough. I wonder how often most peoples’ come out and if the price is worth the time they are out. They really are gorgeous T’s.I'm fairly certain it's the usual Asian pet hole care: Inches of moist substrate, good ventilation, a couple of fake leaves and a piece of cork bark. Done.
Just to let you know those pictures you are heavily saturated. I have seen unaltered photos and they are not that bright.Yeah there’s a seller in classifieds selling them and it’s got the “ooh lala” price tag, just wondering about it’s husbandry and care stories more or less.
I figured they were. Seems to be that way with a lot of really colorful species. Still it’s very unique.Just to let you know those pictures you are heavily saturated. I have seen unaltered photos and they are not that bright.
Oh yeah, don’t get me wrong they are beautiful and colorful and I would love to have one.I figured they were. Seems to be that way with a lot of really colorful species. Still it’s very unique.
Yea but that price tag lol, it’s what’s saved me from getting every xen speciesOh yeah, don’t get me wrong they are beautiful and colorful and I would love to have one.
Worth it— to me - never, no T is worth hundreds of dollars. For you- only you know.Fair enough. I wonder how often most peoples’ come out and if the price is worth the time they are out. They really are gorgeous T’s.
I also want a C. Valhalla for no other reason than Valhalla being in the name lol.
Whats stopping you now? This species is so colorful and at around 1 inch the look good.Worth it— to me - never, no T is worth hundreds of dollars. For you- only you know.
H pulchripes was 400$- still haven’t bought one.
Yea but don’t they lose their color when they’re full grown? Like the blue fades into like a dull color almost gray?Whats stopping you now? This species is so colorful and at around 1 inch the look good.
I've said this before (way before) and I continue to say this now: H. pulchripes was one of the best, biggest, T's market scam I have witnessed. Who will pay hundreds of bucks for a normal P. murinus, the classic 'OBT'? No one. And why? Simple, there's a reason if those are cheap. Easyness of breeding, first. This leads to a strong "chain" of availability, everywhere. Rinse and repeat = End of the game.Worth it— to me - never, no T is worth hundreds of dollars. For you- only you know.

C. sp Valhalla are gorgeous beyond the name. O Hon-sej are beautiful, but I'll probably get a hati-hati first. Gorgeous, affordable, and there's plenty of info on themI also want a C. Valhalla for no other reason than Valhalla being in the name lol.

So I fail to realize why still today H. pulchripes are still on the "pricey" side when facts tells that said species is quite easy to breed just like a P. murinus.
It's not for the money, it's a matter (for me) to not being cheated![]()
Still thinking about it. I usually don’t pay more than 10-35$ for a slingWhats stopping you now? This species is so colorful and at around 1 inch the look good.
I will wait until the next show and get one @ a deal from my boss. I agree, not going to pay $100 plus for a slingStill thinking about it. I usually don’t pay more than 10-35$ for a sling
