Hello I am fairly still new to this hobby even though I’ve been collecting for years I’ve never ventured into getting a medically significant venomous tarantula until now... I just received my first old world tarantula Lampropelma violaceopes (singapore blue) . I know it is not a very good start to my first step in keeping old words but I got this sling tarantula at a great price I couldn't pass up on. But don’t be fooled I don’t need to be ridiculed or shamed I know I am very well confident of being able to maintain. I just would like any tips or advice anyone has who keeps Singapore blues . I know they are a boreal and like their humidity. But I do also here I like to dig and borrow can anyone confirm their adult borrow more than they ever climb?

They often burrow and hide at all stages, in my experience. Deep substrate plus height, not too moist substrate, but still moist. Plenty of ventilation is required to avoid stagnant stale air in the enclosure.
