These millipedes reach around 3", give or take a cm or two. Found in Sonoma County, CA under and in rotting logs. They appear all black to me. Would love to know what they are. I did search a few websites looking for I.D., without any luck, and would love the help! Thanks! 
still trying to load pictures from friends computer, should be up soon, however they will not be of much help I.D.ing from anyway.
