My poor little Jules died this morning. I don't know what went wrong! His humidity was fine, temperature fine, he had a water dish, hide, everything. I'm so upset...

He has been acting strangely for a while, but everyone I talked to said it was normal behavior......He was lying there this morning, and when I opened the tank, he raised his little claws up to me, settled down and died. What did I do wrong? :wall:

I don't know how old he was... I think he was full grown, so being old is a possibility.

he was far from full grown

maybe he was caught in a bad molt or something, but yeah, go for an easier scorp to take care of, desert species are the easier and most satisfying

I took good care of Jules, I really did. I didn't kill him. And for the record, I bought him from you, so he was MY scorpion.

The little booger was just starting to grow on my family too. Mom actually liked the little fellow....

What do I do now? I have no idea what to do with the....er...body. I'm not too fond of the whole "preserve it" idea, and I can't bury him because the ground outside is frozen.

Bury it. If the ground is frozen try putting a kettle of boiled water over a piece of ground and use a spade.

Catch the scorpion and put on a dish in you favourite position.
After that, catch a siringe (hypodermic needle) and sting to the scorp with formol (brith formol if you want to become drunk ).
Repeat this operation 3 or 4 days, and you will conserve de body in good conditions for a long time.
