My poor little Jules died this morning. :( I don't know what went wrong! His humidity was fine, temperature fine, he had a water dish, hide, everything. I'm so upset...

He has been acting strangely for a while, but everyone I talked to said it was normal behavior......He was lying there this morning, and when I opened the tank, he raised his little claws up to me, settled down and died. What did I do wrong? :wall:

I don't know how old he was... I think he was full grown, so being old is a possibility.

I'm so sorry to hear that Katie :(
Best thing to do is replace it. That is what I have always done.

he was far from full grown

maybe he was caught in a bad molt or something, but yeah, go for an easier scorp to take care of, desert species are the easier and most satisfying

she killed my scorpion :(
I took good care of Jules, I really did. I didn't kill him. And for the record, I bought him from you, so he was MY scorpion.

The little booger was just starting to grow on my family too. Mom actually liked the little fellow....

hi,
sorry for your loss :(
the problem with keeping pets that live for shorter lives than us, is precisely that ;(

Um, guys.....

What do I do now? I have no idea what to do with the....er...body. I'm not too fond of the whole "preserve it" idea, and I can't bury him because the ground outside is frozen. :(

YOu can't bin them George LOL

Bury it. If the ground is frozen try putting a kettle of boiled water over a piece of ground and use a spade.

Bless it

Throw it by WC hole ;P

( Just joking)

Catch the scorpion and put on a dish in you favourite position.
After that, catch a siringe (hypodermic needle) and sting to the scorp with formol (brith formol if you want to become drunk ;) ).
Repeat this operation 3 or 4 days, and you will conserve de body in good conditions for a long time.
