im new at this scorpion thing but i want to know if my emperor is a male or female. how do i find out???

look at the pectines on the under side of the scorp, larger hairier are typically female hope that helps

The pic on the top is the male "Männchen" the pic on the bottom is female "Weibchen". As stated the pectin and genital operculum are the keys to sexing most Pandinus and Heterometrus.

Females typically have smaller, thinner teeth on the pectines...:? But a great way of sexing scorpions is to search the site, or use the FAQ section.

You could count the pectines Follow the link that was given earlier I know males have more but I forgot the magic numbers.
