One of my aphonopelmas liked to hide in a tiny clay flower pot partially buried on it's side. The others just stay on the top. Make sure it has a place to hide if it wants to and the opportunity to burrow if it decides to.

Congratulations on a new baby that we ALL would love to have! And welcome to the hobby, it's kinda like the "Hotel California".... "You can NEVER leave!!!":D
