I worry about molds and other things, one of the guys I talked to about this at the pet store said that once I put it in, I have to take it out right away the next day. They advised that I should feed the feeders bird feed or hog feed instead but I have to include lots of water for them. Also, I watched a video about raising Dubias and the guy had this roach chow with sugar and cat food and bird food and calcium, so I was wondering if that's the way to go, he didn't mention anything about vegetables or anything. but another video did say that their diet has to include fresh fruits and vegetables, so I'm guessing 50/50 is the way to go?
I also read that I didn't have to put fresh fruits and vegetables everyday, that I have to limit those as treats for feeders, now I'm super confused hahaha.
Feeders aren't too tricky. They eat pretty much anything. My feeders get crushed cat food, vegetables, and water. I don't use fruits because I'm concerned about attracting flies. I stick a peanut butter jar lid with vegetable scraps in the feeder bin and empty any leftovers every few days. I haven't had any problems with mold or pests this way.

.......... I'd just recently bought a thermometer/humidity measuring thing for my Dubia today, I don't know how useful that'll be. And, uh, well one of the Ts got out last night.....
The humidity guages are useless tbh, the thermometer may be useful, but the hygrometers are notoriously innacurate, I wouldn't bother with it for the feeders OR the T's. Especially the T's and can actually cause more harm then good.

Did you find your escaped baby? In answer to your question, yes, T's are escape artists. Here they are affectionately called eight legged can openers, lol.

No I haven't yet but I'll continue to search of him/her when there's daylight. Apparently they don't web much and that I should search corners. However, I found a lot of house spiders which is good for me and bad for the mosquitoes, also my house friend found what she thought was my missing T, it was a garden spider ^_^. Good of her to try tho.

If you have a lot of house spiders, chances are they will take the sling pretty quickly...they're easy pickin's for house spiders.

Thank you for this, :) Right now I guess I'm experimenting by giving them fruits and vegetables as well as pigeon pellets. I've also obtained water polymer but I'm giving those to the crickets atm to see how they like it and if it is indeed not poisonous (My SI called me evil for this). My vet said that I should try Hog feeds in the future because it's easier to digest. But right now, I don't know I'm still trying to get the Dubia to breed, apparently Oranges help with this process? A guy raising Dubia in youtube said this was true but I'm not sure.
