Newbie in dubia roaches....water crystals?

Hello,I am hoping you are having a great day,I am new to keeping dubia roaches or anything that needs water Crystals as water source,I am going to order 50 adult dubias from rainbow mealworms(seems like a good website),read a few articles on how to care for them,they have a 2 ounce and a 1 pound option for water Crystals in rainbow mealworms(trying to order everything that's necessary from same website),is 2 ounces of water Crystals enough for 50 roaches or do I need the 1 pound?are this water Crystals reusable or not?

You only need to give them a small cup(maybe 2 oz) of water crystals at a time and replace every couple days to a week. The 1 pound option would probably last longer.

I never even did that. They can get all the water they need from the produce you feed them. I've never given a roach a water dish in my life....lol.

One period i gave them some "jelly" type of product. They came in small cups, had diffrent colors and diffrent flavours. My daughter liked those abd ate them. But orherwise give them all kinds if moist vegetables and fruits. That is enough

I’ve been keeping Dubia for years. As long and you provide fresh fruits and vegetables they will be fine. The water crystals evaporate too quickly due to the ambient heat and I haven’t found them to be useful. (I keep mine near 90 for optimal production).
