new usambura

hi. i got a juvie usambura today at the BTS show. i've got it on fresh peat but the problem is it's quite moist and i know these t's like it dry. i've got a heatmat underneath to dry it out a bit. will it be ok until it drys? thanks,

could someone just tell me whether the spider will be ok on the moist substrate please?

I wouldnt recommend it... dry it out and then put him in... I have read about Usambara's dieing from moist substrate. So if u want to be sure make sure it is dry.

Put some on a baking tray in the oven for a while spread out and dry it that way ,then change it over.
