I still think it is a typical African red, and if your following Mitchrobot, any chance of a close up of the sternum and ocular area to possibly help ID?
Well Stasimopus is a Ctenizid found in South Africa. He has these listed as S. robertsi. Of course, that's no Stasimopus. I guessed from the info you provided earlier that this is Ctenelophus.

Looking at the one in this thread, I'm now agreeing with you, as I don't think the carapace is shaped right for Stasimopus, and especially if it's from the same batch. Would be nice to get one of those good closeups of the eyes...
