Yesterday it was my brothers birth-day and I got him a 2"
B. smithi for $30 US at a reptile shop near me, they had a B. emilia same length it was really expensive $70. Is B. emilia harder to come by or something? and did I get a good deal for the B. smithi?:?

Most of the time when I see both species on dealers lists they are pretty comparable in price. I have no idea why the emelia was so much more.

Nice present.

Sounds like a good deal to me. I've seen 2" B smithi in pet shops around ranging from 49.99 to 99.99. Maybe they priced it at $30 because they've already determined it to be male?

yeah

well if it is a male, then it gots 2 females to choose from
if he grows up fast.
Do they grow slow? I bought my females as adults.
so I wouldn't know.
