It is always feel good to see new species found, yet also feel anxious to think how long it will be preserved till.

I read the title and all and yet when I saw the image I thought it was a pseudoscorpion 😆

This is amazing. I found a jumping spider the other day that had chelicerae so long, i had a headache thinking about it. If it was my “teeth”, i would probably have a hunch back already. I love reading about new species.

The fact that many people dislike and fear spiders has an advantage: we can still live the dream of finding a new species in a forest nearby. Thank you for sharing this.

I am curious what the females look like. The article states only the 1 individual was found and its a male, those scorpion looking things are its version of boxing gloves.

Salticideae....one of the craziest families of spiders hands down!!
