A new paper has been published restoring Selenobrachys and Chilocosmia from Orphnaecus, and describing a new species (Selenobrachys ustromsupasius):

Interesting read - enjoy!

Congrats on the Mod nod!

Now that you’re a mod, I expect everything running in tip top shape, no more sexing in the science forum. 🙄😜
Molecular paper- thank god

Thanks! I'll do my best, and will definitely be keeping an eye out for any photo-shopped G. rosea pics! 😉

From my understanding, the new species, Selenobrachys ustromsupasius, is from Romblon Island and is brown/black in coloration - commonly referred to as the Romblon black, not known to be available in the hobby. The species being traded in the hobby as Selenobrachys sp. Romblon Pink is actually found on Tablas Island, not Romblon, and was not included in this paper.
