New Jersey Centipede ID.

I’m rusty with my centipede ID’s. Was thinking this was some type of Lithobiomorpha spp or maybe bark centipede Scolopendromorpha . Anyone recognize the species? About 1-1.25in long Mercer Co. NJ. April 28th, 21’

Order Lithobiomorpha spp?

About 1in-1.25in long, found in Pennington NJ, Mercer Co.

I agree, L. forficatus is the most commonly encountered large (relatively speaking) lithobiid encountered in the US.

I get those a ton where i live. They are common in temperate forest environments.

These guys always look to me like they’re made out of hard candies or lozenges.
