New frog for me.

finally, after a nearly year-long search, i found a budgett's frog. his name is Mushmellon and he's quite kind.

yes, bothrops. it is. scolopendra55, they get around 5 inches. he's like a waterbed, all jiggly. it's pretty adorable.

He is AWESOME!! I love his name, too! :D

I'm curious, why it took nearly a year to find him... are they rare in the hobby? or just hard to come by healthy, etc. ?

they are pretty rare in the trade. they're semi-aquatic and need a good bit of water to swim in. i'll try to get some pics of my setup sometime here.

Such a wonderful fatbody. I almost bought one of those cheeky bastards but went for some T's instead. My pyxie eats up most of my budget...no pun intended. Hiii-ooooo.
