Gorgeous gorgeous photos. I'd love to own some venomoids but they aren't legal in Indiana.

They don't allow snake keeping, or they don't allow venomoids?

Vipers don't respond well to de-venomizing ( is that a term ? ), as their venom begins the job of breaking down tissue in the prey thereby aiding their digestive process, so people who keep copperheads are not keeping venomoids. SO, if it's the venomoids they don't allow, and you're up to keeping the hots, you could still have a copperhead.

They don't allow any venomous reptiles in Indiana, nor do they allow us to keep native species so copperheads are still out. I tend not to think before posting. Sorry about the confusion.

Yes indeed, You know it quit feeding as soon as the days got short even though it was in a warm room. I now have it out in the garage where it will be around 50-60 F this Winter. I am seeing if it will go dormant just like it would in the wild.
