New camera, hopefully I'll get better with practice

Ahhh right, it seems pretty quick but as this is the only digital cam I have used I have no point of reference.

Thanks Dan that makes things a hell of a lot clearer looking through the user manual I do seem to have manual aperture and shutter settings, looks like I have some stuff to experiment with tomorrow.

I think for your first shots, most of them are pretty good.

While I don't have any advice on how to take pics, I can say that like anything, the more you do it, the better you'll get.

And take lots, and lots of pics. Even those on the boards with AMAZING pics, take dozens and dozens of shots of each subject and then go through to find the best.

Keep taking and posting...but try and stop biting your nails! ;P

Not a great pic, she/he really didnt want to play today and retreated to her/his hide pretty sharpish, this was the best one and the colours are pretty close to how she/he looks, so any one want to guess at what she/he is?
