So here are some good pictures of her we got while I was putting her in her enclosure the first time just for size reference and such
A 2 inch terrestrial T fits nicely in something like a small Kritter Keeper. I'll pm you a link.

Just look them up then you'll get a good idea on dimensions. Hell you can go to Dollar General and find a small container.

These are the deli cups I use. I poke some holes along the sides near the bottom and top of the enclosure to allow for cross ventilation. Your spider might be small enough to make it work. They don't do all too much when they are small anyways. Here is an image of what I use and the other pic is my OBT-DCF deli cup setup. If anyone has any input I am open to suggestions but I think it works pretty darn well.

I've owned my T's for about 3-4 months now with no issues. I have kept various other creatures including non-mygalomorph spiders, as well I study conservation biology and deal with potentially harmful species regularly. The thing about tarantulas is that they don't like attention and when they initially feel threatened they will either run and hide or sit in place hiding behind their legs until they feel comfortable. They show very different signs of stress than vertebrates and even most insects. I'd place their enclosure somewhere nice and dark for a while and check on them in the morning assuming your T isn't showing any other concerning symptoms. My buddy told me that stressing too much about your T can cause one to stress out their T more than intended. This is difficult I find myself worrying about them all the time but give your T some time and space and it should start exploring, if it continues to be immobile contact the breeder/store you got them from and let them know. Again Tarantulas are weird, weird but awesome. You seem genuinely willing to learn in order to give your friend a happy life and I respect that a lot, I feel that's what the hobby is truly about. Keep up the good work and I'm sure your spider will be healthy and happy.

I put her underneath the rock
It may look like a small enclosure but she is very small right now like I said maybe 2 in leg span
that setup is way too large

put it in a 16 oz deli cup

Are you saying you haven't seen the spider move, at all- since it was shipped to you? Because that wouldn't be normal. If it's just hunkered down in a hide that's a lot less concerning.

I’d say that’s alarming 🚨 !!! Are you sure the spiders still alive ?

smaller cage for better prey interaction etc. or alot more dirt added to that cage along with alot more reading and learning about how to care for your new pet. best of luck to you
