You found the whole thing online for free ? A lot of work went into this book, the author deserves to get paid in my opinion. And how sure are you that the price will drop? Some of Andrew Smiths older out of print books sell for up to $500 a piece these days.
Agreed, the author deserves to get paid, but there is no reason for a book to cost that much beyond greed. The mark-up is ridiculous on this. Not the author's fault, I understand. It's the same story with textbooks costing more than a dollar per page.

Keep them titles coming!This is another great book if you can find it. Think it was only about 50 bucks. It's less technical and more hobby oriented.
