I got some more pictures tonight, but not quite what I wanted. The little <insert bad word> wouldnt quit running around. I filled a flat plate full of sand, then set it inside a high walled cookie sheet. I figured it would be a good setup for getting side shots, but no dice. She ran in circles the entire time, though I think some of the pics turned out ok. Ill try again tomorrow.

The other thing Ive noticed is that she is so small, and skittish, that its almost easy to forget shes dangerous. After dealing with big rattlesnakes, something that tiny just doesnt feel like a threat. Im too careful to actually forget it, but it makes me glad that these species arent as easily accessible to the general public.















I cant wait to get my macro lense. Prepare for an overload of pictures when I do, lol.
