Yes, let's purchase a spider - from a pet store, no less - when you have ZERO idea on how to care for it. Because you wanted "that kind" of T... but you don't even know what kind they are, as far as care/temperament/etc??

Set up properly, you won't see this spider. They make deep burrows.
Aye man I jump into everything I do head on and not one of my T''s, scorps or reptiles have had any bad health or death sooooo

Thank you everybody though for the knowledge and advice!!!!

Lucky you , it’s still possible to lose one in proper care such as a bad molt. I want more pets but it could’ be a while. Hands full with current ones , wait til I’m ready for more.

53 but most are adults of larger species like lasiodora those in 10 gals, or big plastic containers . A Few are males so number keeps going down . I had almost double that much wish ida sold some males, I was afraid to try and ship them .
I only have one T under 2” a sling growing rather slow. A few under 5”
It’s the heavyweight top soil that makes it a bit hard. Can’t afford to go all Econearth.
Takes up more then two huge Home Depot stands the tall & wide ones like 6 feel tall 4 feet wide I dono $80 stand I think .

Bragging about jumping into things without researching them first... sounds about right.

Many of us have hundreds of Ts. I have that, plus probably another hundred animals across other species.

Yeah this is least Ts I’ve had in 6 -7 years but I cannot get more until I move out. Not my house not my rules , I’d have to sneak them in . No thanks on that !!’n:bag::astonished:

I have two Chilobrachys species, a paviei and a fimbriatus. I set them up in taller than normal enclosures with lots of ventilation, with deep moist substrate and anchor points above to web on. Both good eaters and out every day, very fast and skittish though. I always am extra careful when I have to open their enclosures.
Could i get pics of your paviei plz? I added 1 to my t collection a short while ago and can't seem to find many other people who own them.

Here you go, best I could do. Still not sure if it's male or female, never gives up a molt, lol. I got it as a sling 2 years ago. Pic taken this morning.
