Hi!! About three weeks ago I got a juvenile Neoholothele incei. He took well to his tank, but has since burrowed, not coming out much except to eat and move a little. I have a lot of anchor points and the tank is set up well. I am excited to know they are supposed to be big webbers. I am a bit concerned it has not started. Is it normal that he hasn’t? Or should I be concerned?

No need to worry! It can take tarantulas a while to get settled in. If you post pictures of the enclosure, we can make sure there's nothing stopping your tarantula from getting comfortable, but otherwise just give it time. It'll web when it's ready!

Thanks for the reply. I will add a photo !! Any advice is welcome. He’s the first of his kind I’ve had and kinda just worked with what I had on hand!

Its the wrong enclosure for this species. First, its top only ventilation means no air movement at the bottom, which is not good for many species, including one like incei that likes damp substrate. Secondly, incei is a terrestrial species, and its in way too tall of an enclosure for a terrestriall..
