Need information, insight and opinion on Holothele sanguiniceps

Can anyone provide some feedback with respect to their experiences keeping and for that matter breeding this species (Holothele sanguiniceps-Trinidad Pink) of dwarf tarantula ? There seems to be next to no information available. Thanks!

They're going to be nearly identical to keeping Holothele sp. "Rio Napo". They're not communal like H. incei are, and are in fact going to be moved into a different genus at some point, along with H. sp. "Rio Napo".

Interesting...a completely new genus or one that already exists?

That part I'm not sure about. I'm also not completely sure whether they will be moved, or whether incei will be moved. I just know that incei will not be in the same genus as sanguiniceps and "Rio Napo".

(I'm not doubting you, I'm just ignorant and curious)

Compare the physical characteristics of H. sanguiniceps to H. incei.

H. incei and H. sp. "Bumblebee" (I don't recall if they have a descriped species name yet) are communal. H. sanguiniceps and H. sp. "Rio Napo" are not.

I realize the communal characteristics alone aren't evidence enough to support that they should be in separate genera (A. minatrix vs all other Avics, for example), but I still thought I'd point it out.

As I said, there are other threads on this site that talk about it more in-depth than this. I'll try to take some time to locate them.

It's five years later, and I can't find much info about the care of H sanguiniceps.

Is this a terrestrial, arboreal, or fossorial?

I have been treating my injured H sanguiniceps as a terrestrial, but it hs recovered enough that I need to rehouse is.

Treat is as a terrestrial. I cant find any real info on them either but mine dug out a space under a cork flat and it happy as can be. Burrowed as a baby but now sits right outside unless disturbed then takes off incredibly fast and is back in its home. Beaitiful little dwarf species!
