Anyone in the Bay Area/ California know if we get an expo like BTS? Or do tarantula vendors only go to reptile shows? Because I live in The San Francisco Bay Area and there’s a Repticon a few hours away In Pasadena ca. But I really don’t want to waste my time driving there to only see reptiles.

I've been to Repticon in Houston a few times and there's been people selling inverts every time. The majority of things you'll see are going to be reptiles and supplies for enclosures but if you look around you should be able to find some tarantulas.

It’s more and more. I live In the PNW and there used to be 2 guys sharing one table at our big show. The last one, there was 8-9 vendors selling T’s.

I believe the next Repticon in Pasadena is in June (16-17) at the Convention Center. While I have never been to this show, I frequently go to the big Reptile Expos at the Pomona Fairgrounds, the San Diego Convention Center, and the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa - and all of these shows have a number of tarantula vendors in attendance. @JoeRossi is usually at the shows, so he might have a better idea of who will be in attendance at the Pasadena show.

If SoCal is in your acceptable range of travel plans, we also have a couple of big shows coming up before June -

America's Family Pet Expo/Repticon at the OC Convention Center on April 27-29: http://repticon.com/california/repticon-at-afpe/ Take a look at their vendor list - they have a number of invert people, plus some of the reptile/exotic dealers also have tarantulas.

Bug Fair at the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History on May 19-20: https://nhm.org/site/activities-programs/bug-fair which typically has a number of tarantula and other invert vendors in attendance.

Just went to Repticon in Dallas. There were two vendors there selling T’s and arachnids. They had a decent selection between the two but not mind-blowing.

Yes! I don’t have to wait that long to go. April-May-June looks like I have to make some arrangements for these months. But thanks for the info!

At Repticon Charleston (a smaller show), there are several tables with tarantulas. Plus you can shop for enclosures, feeder insects, and other such supplies.
