like you im not expert either but that looks like a bark to me (i could be very wrong lol). that being said though i absolutley love the setup you have it in looks like where youd see one in the wild great encloser!!!
well i actually caught the little booger in my backyard, im visiting in arizona right now haha. I really hope its a desert hairy as they are my fav species

alot of times they do get their markings as they grow.
that adult has beautiful colors to it. you know how to pick them thats for sure.but that one looks more like a desert hairy again im no expert i own one scorp and its an asian forest species lol. and shes a pissy gal.
This is definitely not a desert hairy, google pictures and you will see they have massive claws and very hairy tails
fair enough like i said im no expert lol.i really like the desert species though and i want one bad but on the east cost they are harder to find in pet shops and they are expensive to ship depending on the species, and i personally only want an arzona bark.
While Bark scorpions are docile and easy to care for, they are the most lethal scorpion in north america, not only that but lightning fast. I'm not trying to scare you off but you should keep these things in mind. A very similar species from the same area is the stripe tail scorpion. Their venom is mild. Desert hairy scorpions are very large aggressive but have mild venom.
yeah i know that they are the most aggressive i always research a bit before i buy i mainly want one just because they are an active scorp. my asian forest made a burrow and i might see her once every 3 months and when i do see her shes very aggressive. infact shes not eaten in almost 5 months i a bit worried. i know they will vast for long periods of time but i feel like this is to long lol. she will grab it like she wants it but she just crushes it and then never touches it again.

no i meant my asain is aggressive, if i said the desert was i didnt mean i knew they were the most poisonous. or the most "lethal" which ever way youd like to word it lol
They are tiny!!! (Not as bad as Superstitionia donensis juvies though!)

I know it isnt bad but compared to the desert hairy and bark where is it atThe scorpion in question is not a Centruroides, it looks to be Paravaejovis spinigerus, or something very similar. I cannot tell how old it is, or how many instars you may have left until it is adult. I only have 2i spinigerus right now
