So a while back I rehoused my N. Incei female and the mature male into a large shared enclosure. He made his own nest and she made hers, and they seem to be leaving each other alone, so I have left them alone, too. The female has been buried away in her web for quite some time, so today I decided to open it to check on her. I found her alive and well, but also babies. So many babies. I don't know how old they are, but already look past eggs with legs to me, they are moving around pretty good in there. My question is: Now what? Do I try to separate them out? Leave them with mom until they come out of the nest on their own? Dad is still living in there as well, but he's getting older these days. Mom was pretty annoyed that I was bothering them. I have put the enclosure inside another bigger enclosure with smaller ventilation, because the babies will definitely fit out the ventilation holes when they emerge. Any advice would be appreciated, I didn't think the adults had shown any interest in each other at all, so suddenly having babies is very much a surprise. I took a real bad pic of mom and a couple babies for size comparison. Sorry it's so blurry, she was not thrilled.
