need a roach species for my semi arboreal terrarium

I really want a T but my girl won't let me. I'm still going to get one. I just haven't found one I want for a beginner yet.

I agree, Gyna would probably be your best bet. The nymphs are voracious.

@The Odd Pet that's pretty cool, I didn't know G. gloriosa was becoming available in the hobby. How does the care stack up with other Gyna?

IDK yet but I'll make a post when I have them.

Well I started out with old world arboreal. No point getting a "beginner" species if it's a stepping stone to what you really want! .... in my opinion

My cam is really bad at showing hoe damn cool this looks at night, but my sticks got a HUGE upgrade, their first and last one tough, this is also the setup i was talking about, more pics tommorow

but can they climb, because the terrarium has bark and wood placed like a staircase up to where the sticks are

Adults can climb very well, both on the sticks/bark and smooth surfaces. They're pretty lightweight though, so unless they're trying to fly around I don't see them doing too much to the sticks.
