Once when I had a rather large aquarium filled with African Cichlids, I started naming them after people from Beatles songs. There was Vera, Chuck and Dave (The children from When I'm 64), Rose and Valerie (Screaming from the gallery in Maxwell's Silver Hammer), etc. At this point in my Tarantula career, I haven't come up with a system. Right now, of my 5 Ts, only one has a name and that's Skippy, my female Aphonopelma anax. In Australia, there was an old TV show about Skippy the Kangaroo. It was pretty much the Aussie equivalent of the Lassie the Dog show here in the US of A. Skippy would have all sorts of adventures rescuing her human boy. A few years ago, there was a great satire of Skippy called Skippy the Goth Kangaroo. That is who my T is named after.

Cheers,

Good call

I named my B. vagans Nymeria and I will eventually use all the direwolf names on my furture Ts

That and you can not go wrong with comic book character names.

I want to get a male and female rcf rose hair just so I could name them Stannis and Milasandre. Then make babies, cause we all no Stannis isn't faithful.

I don't know about everyone else here, but I like sticking to a theme when naming my Ts. Disney villains and women's names from the 30s.

I only have one so far (Quixote), but it is my intention to pull all my future T's names from classic literature.
