i remember once i saw on a natures channel of a spider that hangs on to a branch with it back legs or on a web and makes a web on his legs.

he then waits for a crickets or something to walk under it and then he goes down with web like a net to trap it and eat it

anyone know what i am talking bout here?

I believe you are talking about the net-casting/ogre-faced spider. I don't know the scientific name of the spider though. Someone here will probably chime in with it. I know they have a huge set of forward facing eyes.

Methinks its the deinopis. Uses a web like a net to nab prey with big 2 eyes in the front for good range vision. Nifty looking little bugger.
