Just woke up. A lot of pain has gone away since last night, the swelling is still there but not that bad, the medicine has got my head spinning right now though. When I got up, I looked at the sheets and blood was all over it, it looked like the wound bled for some time wheile I was knocked out, but has stoped now. The OU game is at 2:30 here, so I will try and ggive an update before and after. That is if I'm able to type after the game.

You've been advised this i'm sure by now but-ICE. You have have Lortab for pain but the Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen combo in that won't do anything for the inflammation. You could also alternate between the Lortab with any type Ibuprofen, Advil, Motrin, or generic- unless you have GI problems or allergy of course. The Ibuprofen will help to some degree with the swelling as will the ice. Be sure to watch the site for signs of infection-Above all though, follow the MD's orders! BTW, ;) Hope thats not your beer holding hand... Get better dude.

The above advice should be taken AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION of course.. Good luck.
I have treated many Brown Recluse bites & they can get really nasty, so.....at least it wasn't anything like that.
