Just for future reference if I ever get one what is the average-ish growth rate for slings.
My Neoholothele incei has molted three times since I got it on 10/7/2017. Unfortunately, I have not been able to measure it each time due to its skittishness, but it is at least twice the size it was when I got it (originally 0.5"). This species grows fast and gets its adult coloring early. It maxes out around 3".

Here are the molt records for my Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens, who was 0.75" when I acquired him on 9/17/2016:
  • 9/25/2016: 1.50"
  • 1/4/2017: 2.25"
  • 4/10/2017: 2.75"
  • 7/17/2017: 3.00"
  • 12/24/2017: 3.50"

About what size do GBB Ts max out at? What size sling would be the best to start out with? Is a sling less than an inch ok? What would I feed it? Aren’t those quick as well? How should I prepared for it?

Could I keep a Costa Rican Tiger Rump in that 8x8x8. Or are they too large? If so I’ll probably just keep it there until it outgrows it.

Females at 6 inches or so and males at like 3-5 i thinkkk. Yeah get a sling their really easy to care for.Personally, my sling is pretty docile. All you need is a small container, substrate(I use coco fiber) tweezers, water dish(bottle lid) and your good to go
P.s GBBs need anchor points for their web so try and set up some plastic plants for it to use, other than that its pretty easy

GBB sling was my first T, and mine was about 3/4” when i got it. I just fed it small crickets from the start. Mine didn’t become skittish until it’s last molt. It’s now about 3” and is quite skittish and very fast. I’m definitely cautious when opening the habitat, but it’s not like nerve wracking or anything. Just be aware and cautious and you will be fine.

could I feed smaller one dead cricket parts? Would a Costa Rican tiger run be ok? Would it be able to be housed in that setup?
