My very first T's/slings arrive tomorrow!

I finally took the plunge and went ahead an ordered a pair of slings! I'm so thrilled. I'm drawn to the flash colors and patterns but decided to start with some "simpler" species for my first endeavor. I'm getting a Honduran Curly Hair sling and a Chaco golden knee sling. So excited! They should be here in the morning and I absolutely can't wait.

With one ultimately tragic exception, all of my Ts arrived as slings. Being on hand to witness the transformation from sling to not-so-sling is one of the joys of being in this hobby. It's a much more economical way to go too, if that counts for anything ...

It was 2 years ago that I got my first 2 slings - a smithi and a Chaco - teensy little tykes - Cocoa, my Chaco, just molted overnight and he's one big boy now, compared to his miniscule size when I got him. So's Houdini, my smithi, but Cocoa's winning the (undeclared) race to see who gets the biggest the fastest (and in that event he's so far beating out all of my Ts) ...

I recommend that you start taking pictures now, and saving the molts - you'll be glad that you did (your slings will average a molt a month for a while) ... keep us posted!
