Ok, so after two months of waiting for the weather to get warmer they're finally here! My slings, ordered from ERATO (Netherlands).

Here's the opening of the box. Oh dear...

Here's all the slings on the table. The big ones were holding the tiny geniculatas...

And here are all the new slings in their own containers.

Ok, so now you probably want to know what I got, right?

The original order was:
25 x Acanthoscurria geniculata
25 x Davus (Cyclosternum) pentaloris ??

But the waiting was so hard for me so I decided to make additions to the order:
1 x A. geniculata (bigger spiderling)
2 x Avicularia metallica
1 x Cyclosternum fasciatum
3 x G. rosea
10 x Vitalius cristatus (I guess this is Lasiodora cristata nowadays?)

What was I thinking? :?

Can T addicts have an overdose?

@Buspirone: I do grow my own zoophobas, and occasionally crickets too.

@Vys: Thanks, I'll need it when my mom finds about them...

That is a nice collection of spiders you ordered!
I'm pretty sure your tiny a. metallica's are the same as mine, if they were 3.5 euro that is... :)

Hey Pronty, I KNOW you're good with a camera.. would you mind snapping a few shots of these? And why the question mark? The genus change, or are you uncertain of the ID?

Hi Bill!
The reason why I put the question mark is because in the price list the name was written "Davus pentoralis" and the closest thing I could find in the net was "Cyclosternum pentaloris".
This thing has also been discussed before in this thread.

I don't think these webcam shots will help much... :D

Wow! 67 spiders in one time! That's quite a nice order. I bought 20 of the geniculata's, I'm sure that's the same eggsack as yours. The Erato people (or person...) are very nice, but their naming is horrible, way too much mistakes on the scientific and common names.
