My Tarantula Drawing

I had taken a picture of my G. rosea when she went into her threat pose when I was mucking around in her tank yesterday and I thought i'd try to sketch it. And this how it turned out. I'm no expert artist but i'm pretty happy with it.

Im more of a black and white drawing kind of guy. I got no eye for color. But my friend whos a painter said she'll try to do a colored version. Ill post it here when its done.

Did you vector trace that?

No, I draw with pencil, ink with pen, scan in black and white, then color on Gimp. I find it gives that vector like quality though. But I'm too poor for a tablet haha.

You don't need a tablet for this computer + mouse does the thing
